history of house

The house is a musical genre encompassed within the concept of electronic music. It was created in Chicago clubs Princip of the eighties. House music is strongly influenced by the disco (in turn influenced by soul and funk) in the late 70s. The house takes elements of the disc, as low prominent marking time, but creating a new style by mixing it with electronic sounds created with synthesizers, samples and voices reverberating.
Its beginnings date back to the night clubs of the mid-eighties in Chicago, but many still claim that had its beginnings in the late seventies (more specifically in 1977) when Frankie Knuckles (its apparent creator and one of its most representative icons) debuted as the main DJ (1977 to 1982) at the nightclub known as The Warehouse. This apparently was the club that gave name to this style. However, some people claim (including Larry Heard, aka 'Mr. Fingers'), that the term house only describes the fact that many beginner DJ created this style in their own homes, thanks to technological innovations such as box rhythms and "Revox" 4-track.

History

Electronic music is called that music generally performed by means of electronic devices. This concept also includes the music created with tapes, live electronic music (created in real time with synthesizers and other electronic equipment), concrete music (created from sounds recorded and later modified) and music that combines the previous . Created by outstanding musicians and well known worldwide, together with the technological forefront. Today, electronic music can be found in many branches of clearly defined styles. Now in use other terminologies such as "computer music", "electronic music" or "music radio", definitions tend to refer more to aesthetics than to the technologies used.
